Lil’ Works
Lil’ Works is the area for the youngest members of Crossbridge.  Children ages birth to three years will enjoy quality time every Sunday morning with our caring and loving volunteers.  There are two – three volunteers scheduled each week and they assist the kids as they enjoy the different areas set up for them in Lil’ Works.  Our program is filled with nurturing love and laughter, animated songs and storytelling and lots of play time. Even our youngest children are introduced to stories and projects that teach about Jesus.  If you would like to more information or to volunteer in Lil’ Works please contact Jocelyn Villecco, Lil’ Works Coordinator. 

Kiddieworks & Kidworks Large Group

Our fun and interactive curriculum is built around three Basic Truths every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52.

• I need to make the wise choice.
• I can trust God no matter what.
• I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Each month the children will learn a Core Virtue and Memory Verse. Each week they will be taught a key concept and Bible story that relates to the Core Virtue and Memory verse of the month. 

They will also learn that God is the one and only true God, yet He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is the Creator, so everything belongs to Him and is under His control. God is holy, so He is righteous, majestic, and loving. God is all knowing and purposeful, so He’s at work to bring about His will. No person, thing, or idea compares to God.

Each Sunday your child will experience praise and worship, skits and Bible story time as a large group.  They will then break up into small groups for age appropriate games, crafts and one on one time with a small group mentor and fellowship with their peers.

Kiddieworks Small Group
Kiddieworks is our Pre-school area for three to five year olds who are not yet in Kindergarten.  After participating in the large group Praise and Worship and Bible Story times, they break off into two small groups for age appropriate fun activities where they learn to put God’s love into action.

Kidworks Small Group
Our Kidworks small groups are separated into three smaller groups: Kindergarten and First grade, Second and Third grade, and Fourth and Fifth grade.  Each small group has one – two small group mentors who will pray with your child and try to help them connect the day’s lesson to their everyday lives.  The mentors will also lead them in fun crafts, games and activities that relate to the day’s key concept and Bible story.

Vacation Bible School
Every summer Crossbridge sponsors Vacation Bible School for its families and the children in the community. With its unique and exciting curriculum, VBS offers children a wonderful time singing praise songs, playing games, making crafts and watching skits and videos. We look forward each year to VBS as another way of sharing God’s love with our kids.

We enjoyed High Seas Expedition this summer from July 26-30^th.  Visit us again soon to learn more about our 2011 VBS!

Crossbridge Student Ministries, CSM, is designed for teenagers from grades 6-12. Youth Group meets Sunday nights from 6 pm-7:30 pm at Mugs Coffee House in Swedesboro, NJ. Youth Group consists of great music, fun games, good food and relevant conversations about faith and how it’s connected to our lives.

Are you looking to get connected with other women who share your goals, dreams, and values? Here at Crossbridge, we know the importance of building meaningful, long-lasting relationships and strive to meet the needs of our members. Our goal is for every woman to have a network of friends with whom she can learn, grow and share.

In addition to small groups, Crossbridge Community Church organizes various events throughout the year to help connect women with God and each other. We also have a Mom’s Coffee Break that meets every Tuesday at 10 AM.

Men face unique challenges in society today–from being fathers, husbands, and friends, to just simply knowing who it is that we are supposed to be and how it is that we are supposed to act.

Crossbridge has several men’s “accountability” groups at present. These are groups of 2 to 4 men who meet regularly to challenge one another and to encourage each other. Meetings are held at various times throughout the week. Groups are small, confidential, closed gatherings that meet regularly at Mugs Coffee House in Swedesboro. We spend time getting to know each other, reading God’s word, praying for one another and challenging each other to live godly lives.

Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and Christ-centered 12 Steps. This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, victories and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our life problems.

By working the Christ-centered steps and applying their biblical principles found in the Beatitudes, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger person relationship with God and others. As we progress through the principles and steps, we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power—Jesus Christ.

Host/Greeter – Do you enjoy meeting new people and making others feel welcome? By serving as a greeter you have the opportunity to make a great first impression on our guests. Many times people make a decision about a church based on their first impressions. Crossbridge is committed to creating a welcoming and non-threatening environment. As a greeter you have the opportunity to convey that from the moment people walk in the door.

KidWorks Leader/Assistant – If you enjoy working with children as much as we do, we’d love to have you on our KidWorks team! There are numerous positions available from nursery – 5th grade. Leader and assistant positions are available.

Set-Up Team – Our sanctuary is created each Sunday with the help of our dedicated set-up team. Volunteers on this team work closely to develop a special worship environment with elements that include lighting, stage-setup and cafe.

Worship Team – Musically-inclined folks are wanted to join Crossbridge’s worship team. If you can sing or play, we’d love to hear from you!

Administrative Help – Crossbridge needs someone who can help with light adminstrative duties on a volunteer basis. If you can give a few hours per week in service to the Lord, please let us know.

Creative Team – Love movies? Read a lot of good books? Crossbridge needs your help in coming up with creative ideas, multimedia clips, etc. for upcoming worship services and other events.
