CBlocal is a group within Crossbridge that organizes our local outreach opportunities. All of our activities will be in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area and will focus on loving people who are in need- whether they are homeless, foster children, lonely senior citizens, children & adults with special needs, families with financial hardships, or anyone going through a difficult time. Our goal is to embody what it says in John 13:35:

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Upcoming Projects:

Homeless Meal Ministry in Camden

CBlocal is partnering with Bethesda Methodist to serve the homeless population in Camden. We will be participating on Sunday night, January 27th, February 24, and March 17. For each date we need specific food donations &  10-12 volunteers each of these days to actually go into Camden & serve. We helped with this ministry last year & it is a wonderful way to love people.

Sign-up here to Donate or serve.

All dates that Bethesda goes to Camden are listed on the sign-up. CBlocal is helping on 1/27, 2/24 and 3/17. If those dates do not work for you, feel free to sign-up to help on a date that does.

We are also collecting New Hats, Gloves, Scarves and Socks plus gently used coats, sweatshirts to hand out as well. Drop off at Taco Lindo or at Crossbridge on Sunday mornings.

Ongoing & Past Projects:

Friends Village Nursing Home Visits

Come help us spread love and cheer to the residents of the Friends Village Nursing home in Woodstown, NJ.  Children are welcomed and encouraged to attend, as long as they are not sick. This is a great way for the whole family to serve together. Please contact Katie Halpin for more details on how to participate in this ministry & future dates..

Together We Rise

Our Together We Rise bag campaign was once again a huge success. Thank you so much to everyone who donated to this wonderful cause!!! The decorated bags were dropped off at our Gloucester County DCP&P office August 10th, and we pray the kids that receive them will know someone cares about them & loves them. You can learn more about this program & do more on your own via their website togetherwerise.org.

Blessing Bags for the Homeless

Thank you so much everyone who donated or attended our second Blessing Bags for the Homeless event in June. We had another great turnout & provided another 50 bags of much needed items for the homeless of Philadelphia. We will be doing more of these events in the future. Stay tuned for future events or visit Unforgotten Haven's website to set up your own blessing bag build.

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a wonderful organization that provides meals to local senior citizens who are homebound get a hot meal & a visit from a friendly face that day. Several of our CBLocal members have recently gone to volunteer training to assist in this ministry, and they can always use more help! If you'd like to get involved with this ministry, please contact Teresa Christoff to volunteer or get more information. This is a great opportunity and only requires once a month commitment for about 2 hours. If you'd like to do a ride along & see what it's all about, contact Katie Halpin for future dates.

Kings Things

Volunteers are always needed to help out at Kings Things in Swedesboro! If you'd like more information on how to help, please contact Gerry Siglow at gsiglow@aol.com.

CBglobal is in its infancy stages at Crossbridge. We’ve sent teams to the Dominican Republic, Uganda, France, Nepal, & are developing a relationship with the CM&A in the Middle East. This is all fueled by Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:18-20 to go and make disciples.
