CBlocal is a group within Crossbridge that organizes our local outreach opportunities. All of our activities will be in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area and will focus on loving people who are in need- whether they are homeless, foster children, lonely senior citizens, children & adults with special needs, families with financial hardships, or anyone going through a difficult time. Our goal is to embody what it says in John 13:35:

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Upcoming Projects:

Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit Kings Things in Swedesboro

CBlocal will be assisting Kings Things with 5 local families who need assistance this Thanksgiving.  We are looking to provide a full Thanksgiving meal including the turkey, stuffing & all the fixings. To help provide items for the meal, please sign up here.  All items will need to be collected by Nov. 19.  Please contact Katie Halpin with any questions.

Christmas Toy Drive to benefit kids in Foster Care with the Gloucester County DCP&P office

Please stop by our giving tree in the foyer of Crossbridge to pick up a tag for one of the 15 foster kids we will be helping this Christmas. Each tag will have the child’s first name, age, and a few gift suggestions. We are asking that the families who “adopt” a child for Christmas would get at least one of the specified items (around $25) for the child, but they are welcome to purchase as much as they would like.  All gifts would need to be received by December 8th. Please contact Katie Halpin for more details. The Giving Tree will be available starting Nov 12.

Friends Village Nursing Home Visits

Our November and December dates will be announced soon.  Come help us spread love and cheer to the residents of the Friends Village Nursing home in Woodstown, NJ.  This is a great way for the whole family to serve together.

CBglobal is in its infancy stages at Crossbridge. We’ve sent teams to the Dominican Republic, Uganda, France, Nepal, & are developing a relationship with the CM&A in the Middle East. This is all fueled by Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:18-20 to go and make disciples.
