Who Made You Judge, Jury, and Executioner?

Have you ever heard this phrase? Maybe you’ve even said it. So many of us begin to play judge, jury, and executioner in our own lives. But the same is true when it comes to our faith. As Disciples of Jesus, too many of us play judge, jury, and executioner. We decide which Biblical truths and values are important and which are inconvenient… and then hold everyone around us to this new set of standards we’ve created…And when they fall short- we judge.
