Mary Beth

Meet our CBkids Director

As a homeschooling mom of 5, Mary Beth's passion is teaching kids, especially teaching kids about Jesus.
Rather than focusing solely on the historical stories of the Bible, she loves seeing kids get to know Jesus as a person--developing a friendship with Him and discovering how that friendship can impact their daily lives, even at a very young age.

She loves spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their kids: Katelyn & Brett, Emily, Meghan, Melissa, and Stephen.

Mary Beth graduated from Duke University with a BA in Children's Studies and has led children's ministry for 10 years, youth ministry for 8 years, directed VBS for 6 years, taught special education, and has homeschooled her children for over 20 years.

At our Summer Family Nights, CBkids is having a Family Centered Bible Study on Jonah for students currently in grades 3, 4, and 5 and their parents.
This will be an in-depth, investigative study of the book of Jonah focusing on historical context, Biblical context, themes, and application. At least one parent must participate per family, but more than one parent is preferred.
There are age appropriate study book for everyone. Books cost $20 each. There are adult books and Student books--everyone participating needs their own book. If you need help with the cost of the books, please email marybeth@crossbridgecc.org. We do not want finances to keep anyone from participating.
